This project focused on the evaluation and lifecycle maintenance of an existing onboarding program for Course Advocates.
Audience: New hires
Role: Instructional Designer / SME
Delivery: Modular VILT
Post-delivery feedback indicated opportunities to improve clarity, engagement, and overall learner experience.
Refined onboarding sessions that better aligned with learner needs and expectations.
I began by analyzing Kirkpatrick Level 1 learner feedback across three onboarding sessions to identify recurring themes related to clarity, pacing, and engagement. Rather than redesigning from scratch, I prioritized high-impact refinements that would improve learner experience while maintaining program continuity.
Content was reorganized to improve flow, unnecessary cognitive load was reduced, and visuals were simplified for clarity and consistency. I ensured alignment between learning objectives and session activities, strengthening engagement and practical application.
The updated modules were redeployed through the onboarding program, with continued feedback informing additional refinements.
Demonstrated continuous improvement through evaluation-driven design.
